Overview
LocalHub ("LocalHub", "we", "us") is operated by Webcents Solutions, based in New Delhi,
India. LocalHub is a platform that lets businesses manage microsites and local
presence for each of their locations from a single dashboard. This policy explains what
information we collect through the platform — app.localhubcity.com and the
public microsites it publishes — and how we use it.
We distinguish between two kinds of people this policy covers: account users (business owners, admins and location managers who sign in to the dashboard) and visitors (people who view a public microsite or submit a lead or review form).
Information we collect
Account information
- Name, email address and password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text)
- Role and the locations you're assigned to within your organization's account
- Two-factor authentication status (we store an encrypted secret if you enable it, never the raw code)
- Sign-in activity: timestamps, device/browser information and IP-derived approximate location, used for session security and login alerts
Business & location content
- Business and location details you add: names, addresses, phone numbers, hours, descriptions, photos and other page content
- Posts, offers, FAQs, testimonials and other content published to your microsites
Visitor & lead information
- Information submitted through a microsite's contact, booking or review forms — typically name, email, phone number and message content
- Aggregate page-view counts for each microsite, used for the analytics shown in the dashboard; we do not build cross-site advertising profiles from this data
Payment information
Where a subscription plan is billed, payment is processed by our payment providers (currently Stripe and/or Razorpay). We do not store full card numbers on our servers — card details are handled directly by the payment provider under their own privacy and security terms.
How we use it
- To operate the dashboard and publish your microsites
- To route leads, reviews and chat messages to the right people on your team
- To send account emails: invitations, password resets, login alerts and billing notices
- To calculate the analytics and local-search-visibility figures shown in your dashboard
- To keep the platform secure — for example, detecting unusual login activity or abuse of public forms
- To comply with legal obligations, such as responding to a lawful request from an authority
Cookies & tracking
The dashboard uses a single, essential, httpOnly session cookie to keep you signed in. We don't use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site trackers on the dashboard or on the public microsites. A public microsite's own analytics beacon is limited to anonymous, aggregate page-view counts.
Sharing & third parties
We don't sell personal information. We share information only with:
- Service providers who help us run the platform — for example, our hosting and email delivery providers — under contracts that limit their use of the data to providing that service.
- Payment providers (Stripe, Razorpay) to process a subscription payment you initiate.
- Google, only if and when you choose to connect a location's Google Business Profile or Search Console account — see the section below.
- Authorities, where we're legally required to disclose information.
Google user data
If you connect a location to Google Business Profile or Google Search Console, we request only the scopes needed to read and (where you've explicitly enabled it) publish on your behalf — for example, listing details, posts and search performance data for that specific property. We don't use Google user data for advertising, and we don't transfer it to third parties except as needed to provide the feature you enabled. You can disconnect a Google account at any time from that location's Integrations tab, which revokes our access.
Data retention
We keep account and business data for as long as your account is active. If an account is closed, we retain data only as long as reasonably needed for legal, accounting or security purposes, then delete or anonymize it. Audit log entries are kept longer, as they exist specifically to provide a historical record of account activity.
Security
Passwords are hashed, sensitive tokens (such as connected Google accounts and SMTP credentials) are encrypted at rest, and all traffic to the dashboard and public microsites is served over HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we treat account security as a first-class concern, not an afterthought.
Your rights
Depending on where you're located, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your personal information. Account users can update most of their own information directly in the dashboard; for anything else, or for a visitor who submitted a lead form and wants their information removed, contact us using the details below.
Children's privacy
LocalHub is a business tool and is not directed at children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
We'll update the "Last updated" date above when this policy changes, and for material changes we'll make a reasonable effort to notify account owners directly.
